Strawberry Delight Smoothie Bowl
My Strawberry Delight Smoothie Bowl is going to make you really happy! I have eaten this for breakfast for days and I am not tired of it yet! It’s so refreshing and delicious, your kids will love this. AND there is a surprise ingredient, so read on!

The secret ingredient!
Ok, here it is…. My secret ingredient to this smoothie bowl is, BEET POWDER! Yes, beet powder! It has no taste, your kids get a veggie and it adds a really bright pink color to your bowls!
So why use beet powder?

I love this brand of beet powder. It’s Non-Gmo, organic, and lab-tested.

You will need a high-powered blender such as a Vitamix to make your smoothie bowls. Place two bananas in the blender, and let them defrost for about 5 minutes. Add the rest of your ingredients. Using your blender’s plunger start to push down the fruits helping them blend. This will take 1-2 minutes to get the right consistency you want for a smoothie bowl. I usually stop it twice to mix things up and then start the blender again.
Some great topping ideas are:
Crushed nuts
Granola– I love this brand so much!
Honey- local honey is best
Maple syrup
Fresh fruit
the list is endless!
Let your kids do their own toppings because kids tend to eat more of what they helped prepare!
Enjoy!
