Strawberry Banana Ice Cream

This delicious and healthy strawberry banana ice cream will make your kids beg for more! It’s made from real ingredients that will help keep them healthy. It’s also a great way to get some fruit into picky eaters.

Let’s make Strawberry Banana Ice Cream!

Simply add all ingredients to your high powered blender and blend until combined. It will be thick so you will have to use the plunger that came with your blender to help get it all blended.

You can use toppings or serve as is, it will be a winner no matter which way you serve it. Some fun toppings could be:

Coconut flakes

Dairy-free chocolate chips

Chopped nuts

Peanut or nut butter or

Chia seeds

It would also be fun to let your kids top their own ice cream, kids tend to eat what they get to prepare.

I have a stash of frozen bananas at all times in my freezer. Whenever bananas start to turn brown I peel, chop, and put them in a zip lock bag in my freezer. This way I always have some ready for ice cream or smoothies and we don’t throw them away.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries

  • 1/2 cup frozen banana

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tsp maple syrup- optional

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

Directions

  • Add all ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until smooth. You will need ot use the plunger that came with your blender to help it blend together.
