I am often asked, “what are your favorite cookbooks?” Here are my favorite cookbooks.
Taking the top spot is Against All Grain
It doesn’t matter what she publishes I just buy it because I am never let down.
Danielle’s cookbook was the very first gluten and dairy-free cookbook that I owned. It was a lifesaver because I was struggling and had no idea how to eat gluten and dairy-free. She doesn’t use any refined sugars, gluten, or dairy in her recipes and all the recipes are amazing!
Her first cookbook was Delectable Paleo Recipes to Eat Well & Feel Great, by far my favorite of all four. My pages are wrinkled from using so much in my kitchen. If you want to try one of her recipes before you buy the book try her 7 layer bars, they are out of this world! I make them for parties and not one person has ever known they are gluten and dairy-free!
Meals Made Simple is her second book and my favorite recipe from this book is her sandwich rolls, so yummy and easy to make. I make and freeze them in individual baggies until I am ready to enjoy them. Her Real Deal Chocolate Chip Cookies are so good, again no one knew they were gluten and dairy-free! I also love her ketchup recipe, I am a ketchup junkie.
Celebrations is her holiday cookbook, hence the title. I have made some amazing recipes from this book for Thanksgiving that we now make every year. The Blender Bread is so easy and fabulous!
Her latest book is Eat What You Love. Be sure to try her chicken pot pie, pizza crust, and condensed cream of mushroom soup. If you go to Danielle’s web site you can get meal plans that she has put together with recipes from her cookbooks. You can’t go wrong with Danielle!
Paleo Running Mama
I love Paleo Running Mama’s blog and have made so many of her recipes that are fantastic, so when she came out with a cookbook I didn’t hesitate to buy it. I was not disappointed because its worth every penny! Paleo Baking at Home is awesome! Every recipe has a gorgeous photo that makes your mouth water! Be sure to try the Triple Chocolate Fudge Brownies! If you want to try one of her recipes before purchasing her book try her Hearty Paleo Banana Bread. It’s only sweetened with bananas but you would never know it, it’s amazing.
The Everything Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free Cookbook
I would also suggest you get The Everything Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free Cookbook. It’s a huge book and has many great recipes. Many people on our Facebook group have this one and rave about the recipes. It’s only 10.00 so you can’t go wrong. There are no pictures in the book but the wealth of recipes makes up for it.
I hope that this has been helpful to you. If you have a great cookbook that I haven’t mentioned please comment below.
