Easy Instant Pot 7 Minute Hard Boiled Eggs

We love hard boiled eggs in our house so my go to way of making them is my Easy Instant Pot 7 Minute Hard Boiled Eggs. I love my Instant Pot and love how easy it makes hard boiled eggs. I used to boil them but I never got the insides cooked how I liked them, in the Instant Pot they come out perfect every time! I’ve had my IP since 2017 and it hasn’t’t failed me yet! It was one of our best investments.

This is so easy. Open your Instant Pot and add 1 1/2 cups of water. I use egg racks to make my hard boiled eggs. Put the first rack in your IP and then add your eggs. Add the second rack and add your eggs.

Put the lid on you IP and lock it. Make sure that you pressure gauge is closed.

Next set your IP to High Pressure for 7 minutes.

When the IP is done release your pressure gauge. Becareful, this is hot so keep your body away from the steam. Let it release until the pressure is completely released then remove the lid.

I like to soak my eggs in ice water so they are easier to handle. Using tongs remove the eggs and add to the ice water. I let mine soak for 10-15 minutes.

When cool peel your eggs and store in the fridge.

One of the best things about making hard boiled eggs in the IP is that the shells almost fall off the egg! Seriously, they come off so easily. Give it a try!
