Do you miss Vegan Dairy Free Queso? Do you miss cheesy queso since going dairy-free? Me too, so I created this yummy Queso to have with nachos, tacos, add to casseroles, use as a veggie dip, mac and cheese, and the list just goes on and on!

Vegan Dairy Free Queso

This is easy, just add all ingredients to a high powdered blender. Blend on high until it resembles Queso, taste, and add salt if needed.

If you don’t have a high powdered blender you can soak your nuts for 1-2 hours in hot water, then follow the recipe. The high powdered blender breaks down the cashews so you don’t have to soak them.

Vegan Dairy Free Queso

I used Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Seasoning Blend but if you don’t have a Trader Joe’s you can sub with any chili seasoning that you like.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/2 cup macadamia nut milk

  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Seasoning Blend

  • red pepper flakes- optional

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Add all ingredients to a high powdered blender– only a high powdered blender will work
  • Blend on high until it resembles queso.
