You can use toppings or serve as is, it will be a winner no matter which way you serve it. Some fun toppings could be:

Coconut flakes

Dairy-free chocolate chips

Chopped nuts

Peanut or nut butter or

Chia seeds

It would also be fun to let your kids top their own ice cream, kids tend to eat what they get to prepare.

I have a stash of frozen bananas at all times in my freezer. Whenever bananas start to turn brown I peel, chop, and put them in a zip lock bag in my freezer. This way I always have some ready for ice cream or smoothies and we don’t throw them away.
