I was feeling kind of bored with my dinner options one day and just kind of threw this together and it is so good that I had to share it with you.
If you are low carb you’ll like that this dish is only 3 net carbs if you are sharing it with someone.
I always hear people say that they don’t like shirataki noodles because they are rubbery, but that’s because they aren’t cooking them right. Drain the noodles and rinse with water for 1 minute. While you are doing this heat an empty frying pan on medium heat. Shake all the water you can off the noodles and add them to your frying pan. We’re just going to cook the water off of the noodles. You will see steam coming off the noodles, once they stop steaming remove them from the heat and set aside.
Bring water to a boil in a sauce pan and cook your broccoli to your liking, drain and set aside.
Heat a frying pan to medium heat and add 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Season your shrimp with garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Add your shrimp to the frying pan and cook 3-4 minutes on each side until done. Add your broccoli and noodles, stir until combined. If you need more olive oil drizzle some on top. All that’s left to do is enjoy. This will serve two people.

Spicy Garlic Shrimp and Noodles
1 package of Shirataki Wonder Noodles
1-2 cups frozen brocoli
2-3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp chopped garlic
8 large shrimp
red pepper flakes
- Boil broccoli until cooked to your liking then strain and set aside.
- Strain shirataki noodles and run underwater for 1 minute. Heat a pan over medium heat, add noodles, and cook until all the steam is gone, you’re cooking off the liquid in the noodles, set aside.
- Peel and devein the shrimp. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle some garlic powder, pepper and red pepper flakes on the shrimp. Add 3 tbsp of olive oil to a frying pan heat pan to medium heat and add your shrimp. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Once the shrimp is cooked add the noodles and broccoli and toss so it’s all coated with the remaining oil. If you need a little more oil drizzle on top and toss.
