My peanut butter mug cake is an easy and tasty way to make yourself a little treat. Simply add all cake ingredients to a mug, stir to combine, and microwave for 60 seconds. Mix up the frosting ingredients and drizzle over your mug cake, all that’s left is to enjoy!
If you are low carb simply swap out the maple syrup for Lankanto Monkfruit. This mug cake is 12 carbs with the chocolate chips and only 4 if you leave out the chocolate chips!
I topped mine with the frosting included in the recipe and a few extra Enjoy Life chocolate chips, very yummy. My husband is not gluten or dairy-free and he liked it too!

3 tbsp peanut butter flour
1 tbsp maple syrup or Lakanto Monkfruit if Keto
1 tbsp almond flour
1 1/2 tbsp almond milk
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp Enjoy Life chocolate chips- optional, and are not keto
2 tbsp peanut butter flour
1 tbsp almond milk
2 tsp maple syrup
- Add all ingredients to a mug and stir until combined.
- Microwave for 1 minute.
- Mix the toping ingredients and drizzle over the mug cake.
