Cheesy Dairy Free Hashbrown Casserole
I love potatoes, ya’ll know that so I wanted to come up with a breakfast casserole that I could just grab before work and came up with this Cheesy Dairy Free Hashbrown Casserole.
It’s pretty easy and a beginner cook could do this pretty well.
Let’s cook our Cheesy Dairy Free Hashbrown Casserole
First, add your hash browns to your pan, spread them out, and press them down as much as possible. Add some salt and chili poweder over the potatoes.
Let’s chop our onion and saute’ in a pan with a little olive oil. When the onions are almost done add your chopped garlic, parsley, and sausage. Cook until the sausage is done.
Pour some of Plantiful Kiki’s Cheese Sauce over the hash browns, grind pepper over the cheese.
Now add the sausage mixture on top of the cheese sauce.
In a large mixing bowl add your eggs and milk, whisk until they are completely combined. Then pour them over the meat mixture. I added some red pepper flakes to the top of mine but this is optional.
Bake this in a 350 degree over for 45 minutes or until the eggs are firm. Let it rest for 10 minutes then slice and serve. You can pour some additional cheese sauce over the top and garnish with some of the sliced green onions.

Then once done pour this over the top of anything you can think of and you will be happy you did, your kids and hubby will love it and ask for more! I learned that my husband who isn’t dairy-free has been using it too, that’s a big compliment!

1 pound hashbrowns
1/2 cup of milk of your choice, I used soy milk since its creamiest
1 pound breakfast sausage
1 1/2 onions chopped
2 tsp chopped garlic
Fresh Chives- chopped to sprinkle over the top- Optional but adds great flavor
1 tsp parsley
salt to taste
black pepper to taste or red pepper flakes if you like it spicy
chili powder to taste
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 9 x13 or large baking dish and spread out the hash browns evenly and sprinkle with salt and chili powder. Cover with the cheese sauce and pepper then set aside.
- In a large saute’ pan cook your onions in a little oil and when almost done add your breakfast sausage, garlic, red pepper flakes if using, and parsley. Cook until the meat is done. Spoon over the cheese sauce.
- In a bowl mix your eggs and milk.
- Pour over the hash browns and bake for 45 minutes
